General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare specialists of bachelor's degree in communications, capable to work in the environments of entertainment industries, to create entertainment projects, manage and implement them.
Learning outcomes:

The graduates of the entertainment industry program will be able
- to develop new entertainment services and produce them.
- to work in cinema, music, theatre, educational and tourism entertainment industries.
- to offer new ideas, products and services to the market of entertainment, to create entertainment industry innovations and to develop solutions for their implementation;
- to study and analyse the entertainment industry market and apply results in your professional activities;
- organize events, create new forms of entertainment, and publicize and promote them;
- to apply innovative communication methods and communication strategies in the field of entertainment;
- to communicate with consumers by introducing entertainment activities and work with entertainment teams;

Activities of teaching and learning:
The following study methods are used: problematic teaching, case studies, problem-based tasks, interactive (computerized) tasks, discussions, presentation of scientific problems, writing papers, project preparation, individual and group work, concepts maps, discussions, expert method.
Individual counseling is provided for each subject, one of the goals of which is to better adapt to the individual needs of the student.
Practical skills will be consolidated by coursework and complex projects, practice in enterprises. Practice provides an opportunity to study the creative business and communication problems on the basis of which students prepare their final work.

Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
The following evaluation methods are used: verbal assessment methods (individual, frontal survey), written test methods (written interview, test, control works, etc.), practical test methods (examinations, reports, etc.) are used to verify that the students have achieved the expected results. Various evaluation methods are used to assess problem-solving problems: group and individual presentation presentation, essay analysis, analysis of study achievement folders, interview, analysis of reports, semi-open or full-time testing, etc. "
Students' knowledge, abilities and qualifications of a BA undergraduate study program are assessed using a ten-point cumulative assessment system.
The results of the study program and the subjects during the semester are evaluated during the interim payments (written reports, supervised works, presentations, creative projects, laboratory works are described and interpreted). The final grade consists of intermediate grades and exam grades.

The Entertainment Industries study program focuses on the development of entertainment ideas, entertainment event formats, entertainment innovations, organization of events, innovative adaptation of various foreign entertainment projects in Lithuania, their promotion, the creation and development of entertainment culture and ethics. Business and management topics focus on entertainment communication rather than on entertainment management. The entertainment industries professional is able to integrate effective communication in professional activities, to develop and apply creative solutions and communication strategies in managing the field of entertainment industries, which is increasingly intertwined not only with all of our lives, leisure and interests, but also our professional activities and employment.
