General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
to prepare specialists capable of working in various fields of civil engineering, manage the construction, repair and maintenance of buildings, prepare construction projects, perform estimates and geodetic measurements, evaluate construction products, plan, organise and technically supervise construction works, and create one's own business.

Knowledge and understanding (A)
A-1 Know the general patterns and laws of natural sciences and mathematics necessary to understand the foundations of the civil engineering field.
A-2 Have a basic knowledge of civil engineering relevant to working in practice.
A-3 Know the context of problems of adjacent fields of study and their solutions.
Engineering Analysis (B)
B-1 Be able to apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems in the field of study of civil engineering creatively using familiar methods.
B-2 Be able to apply knowledge and understanding in the analysis of civil engineering problems and to choose the appropriate methods, experimental and production equipment.

Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Assessment of learning outcomes consists of the assessment of a student's knowledge, understanding and abilities. Assessment of the achievement learning outcomes is performed throughout the semester and exam period. Under cumulative assessment, learning outcomes are assessed by means of interim assessments, and the final assessment consists of the sum of the assessments of intermediate assessments and examinations. The learning outcomes achieved by the student at the end of the module are assessed by assigning them to the level of learning outcome achievement: excellent (exceeds average level of achievement), typical (corresponds to standard, average level of achievement) and threshold (meets minimum requirements).

Graduates will be able to work in various fields of civil engineering, manage construction, repair and maintenance of buildings, prepare construction projects, perform estimates and geodetic measurements, evaluate construction products, plan, organise and technically supervise construction works. They will also be able to create their own business, prepare business and economic activity plans of the company (division) and analyse economic business environment.

Graduates can continue their studies at university and obtain a master’s degree.
