General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
Objective of the study programme – prepare specialists able work and act in international business fields in Lithuanian, foreign, international organizations in multicultural and multilingual business environment.
Learning outcomes:
1.1. Will know international business theories, apply them defining and solving international business field problems;
1.2. Will adapt accounting, finance, investment, finance markets, marketing, human resource management, international market research and strategies choice newest scientific and practical principles.
1.3. Will know national and EU legal acts, will understand country’s and company’s activities system and its interaction with international environment.
2.1. Will gather, evaluate and argument data needed for decision taking;
2.2. Wil autonomously conduct international business environment and market researches in order to identify target markets and choose communication
Will be able to:
3.1. Analyze and evaluate country’s and international business environment, tendencies, system, apply legal acts regulating international business activity.
3.2. Predict international business tendencies, market and customer needs changes;
3.3. Prepare international business projects;
3.4. Negotiate with international partners; Understand multicultural business communication features and adapt in international business environment;
3.5. Choose and apply technological, management and organizational business innovations;
3.6. Understand employees’ role in international business organization; organize staff selection; motivate employees and organize professional activity evaluation;

Lectures, seminars, discussions, individual and group practical tasks, automous written works, continuos practical tasks, presentation of works, case (problem situations) analyzes.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Motivating students and their consistent continuos work during the studies a cumulating scoring system is applied. Possible assessment methods: control works, term papers (course works), reports, projects, examinations, final work.

Students of the study programme will have possibility to learn several languages, part of alternative optional subjects and study field subjects will be delivered in foreign language.
