General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
Learning outcomes of the study programme: student knows the basic business and investment of study basic knowledge, develop a highly skilled business and investment in the knowledge with professionals who are able to think critically, to identify and solve a variety of business and investment regulatory problems creatively apply business and investment law providing professional advice to the various operators on matters and may, by means of professional thinking and integral scientific knowledge, adopt innovative solutions that enhance competitive advantage and business value.
Learning outcomes:
During the study period student will acquire knowledge on the basic concepts of the studied subjects, knowledge of legal studies; knows the national, regional (European Union) and international business and investment sphere of legislation EU regulatory context; understand the business and investment environment of the forms of business organization, the legal regulations and procedures, business contracts specificity of knowledge; is able to of legal norms in terms of assessment of human behavior and business entities; able to critically analyze, interpret, explain and compare the business and investment relations between the legal regulations; ability to analyze and organize various procedural documents in civil cases; is able to organize and carry out public procurement of goods and services; acquired the right direction to apply knowledge in practice, and create jobs for themselves in the private or public sector; demonstrates the capacity to prepare investment projects for the development and execution, to represent the public and the private entity in preparing and implementing investment development programs; demonstrates the capacity of law in terms of assessment of the behavior of businesses, analyzing their causes and propose reasoned and logically based on these solutions.

Lectures, seminars, debates, group work, practical tasks, analysis of the case, preparation of projects, practical trainings, self-study tasks etc.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Cumulative grading is applied. Cumulative grading final evaluation consists of results of course program assignments. Each subject or module is completed by the final examination or estimation of student‘s independent work (project). Final estimation consists of parts of cumulative estimation (attendance, participation, tests, independent works, and examination) percentage of each of them in final estimation is indicated in program of study subject.

Roman Civil Law, Theory of State and Law, Investment Law, Business of Law, Finance of Law, Administrative and Administrative Procedure Law, Criminal Law. Criminal Procedure Law, Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, Labor and Social Security Law, Constitutional Law of Republic of Lithuania, European Union Law, International Law etc. The study programme includes three professional activity interships.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
Distinctive features of the study program: The program emphasizes practical training. Students perform their practical training in lawyer’s offices, bailiffs’ offices, court registry offices, in successful Lithuanian companies. Students have an opportunity to study and perform their practical training in companies abroad using students exchange program.
