The first courses prepare tools for future work: Foreign languages, Greek, Latin, Introduction to Philosophy and Logic. Historical studies are carried out consistently by epochs – Ancient, Medieval, Modern Times. Contemporary philosophy (e.g. Analytical philosophy, Phenomenology, etc.) is studied only in latter courses. Areas of philosophy (e.g. Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, etc.) are studied in parallel, however it is generally sought to ensure that they already have a historical basis.
The General education course units that students choose from a general list proposed by the University are taken in the first and second year.
