General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
1) To provide students with the latest general university knowledge in the field of communication, language use and professional journalism. 2) To develop students' skills to carry out research work in radio, television and various magazines and provide transferable skills that graduates use them in the various practical activities. 3) To develop students' capacity to focus on local and international social and political life, good understand and realize the functions of journalism in a democratic society, objectively and intelligently reflect a variety of social, political, cultural and economic events and phenomena in different media.
Learning outcomes:
Successful graduates are able to: understand the interrelations between various phenomena and objects, analyze their structure and qualities, gather data, interpret it, and present it in various means of mass media. Graduates develop their general skills of native language and foreign language use, teamwork, and readiness to learn independently. They are able to reveal various different social, political, cultural and economic events and phenomena. Graduates can work in editorial offices of periodicals, television and radio stations, electronic (online) media portals, agencies, organizations and companies, and public relations services.
