General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To acquire the deep theorethical and practical knowledge of HR management activities, the purposeful HR policy implementation in term of employee atraction, retention, motivation, remuneration, achievement evaluation, training and adaptation. To demonstrate the ability of applying HR management methods for the HR management result analyzes, HR management process research at organization, for the collecting, critical evaluation and interpreting economical and managerial information.

Knowledge and Its Application:
A1 To demonstrate knowledge about classical and modern theories of human resource management and understand how they relate to interdisciplinary subjects.
A2 To know the possibilities of information technologies, fundamental mathematical, statistical methods when applying them in the process of human resource management.
A3 To be able to apply diverse fundamental and integrated human resource management knowledge based on the results of applied research in a wide sphere of interdisciplinary studies and professional activity.
A4 To be able to reason human resource management decisions and to assess the results of human resource management activity in an organisation critically.
Research Skills:
B1 To be able to select mathematical, statistical and informational technology methods and apply them when collecting, processing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data of human resource management.
B2 To be able to select and apply various methods and measures when implementing human resource management activities and dealing with the problems related to human resource management in a constructive way.
B3 To collect, interpret and analyse information about human resource management in an organisation; to present reasoned insights into problematic spheres and be able to apply them in a broader economic, legal and political context.
B4 To integrate the methods of research into human resources and other related fields when making responsible economic, social and ethical decisions.

C1 To plan and organise human resources while independently selecting complex means and combining them with other functional spheres of an organisation.
C2 To be able to recognise the problems of human resource management and other related fields and evaluate the results of human resource management in organisations in the national and global context.

D1 To communicate effectively in writing and orally when presenting human resource management knowledge to specialists and other learners using Lithuanian and international terminology of human resource management.
D2 To communicate and cooperate with specialists and society constructively when dealing with human resource management tasks following professional ethics and public spirit.

E1 To manage time, determine learning needs independently, study and improve in a professional field in the context of lifelong learning.
E2 To act according to the principles of professional ethics, to understand moral responsibility for the impact of personal activity and its results on social development and welfare.

Activities of teaching and learning:
The knowledge and skills during all subjects are gained at the class and by self-learning. Work at the class includes lectures, seminars, laboratory work and practical tasks. Student's individual work is assigned to the mastering of theoretical material, lecture preparation, laboratory work and exercises, to the semester assignments and final exams, homework and project development and to the other knowledge, skills and abilities designed activities. The study program concludes with a Bachelor's final project.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Student's knowledge, abilities and skills acquired by studying the program modules during the semester are evaluated and recorded in the database. The settlement of the semester individual work tasks, individual, group or course work, the mid-term and final exam gives the evaluation in the ten-grade scale.

The students are studying 24 core subjects at study field: Mathematics, Innovative Information Technologies, Microeconomics, Business Ethics, Business Law, Macroeconomics, Management, Human Resource Management, Economic Statistics, Business communication and Rhetorics, Enterprise Resource Planning and Procurement Management, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Organization, Performance Organization, Human Resource Recruitment and Retention, Conflict Management, Achievement Management, Salary and Compensation, Teamwork, Basis of Labour Law, Social Responsibility of Enterprise, Knowledge Management, Quality Management. Study program provides mandatory practice.

Optional courses:
Students can choose a contiguous studies for the achieving a double qualification degree. Also they can choose an extra practice, additional subject from similar or different area at 6, 7 semesters, and the 30 credit alternative sets at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 semesters.

A graduate possesses comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of human resource management activities and human resource management politics’ realization in fields of human resource recruitment, retention, motivation, rewarding, achievement evaluation, development and adaptation, is able to use human resource management methods, analyze results of human resource managing, research human resource management process in organization, collect, estimate and interpret economical and managerial information.
