General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare a market-oriented proffesional bachelors of telecommunication engineering, who are able to design telecommunication networks, select, install and maintain telecommunication systems and equipment necessary to model customer service network.
Learning outcomes:
To be able to evaluate customers' needs and development trends;
To develop the project for a technical solution;
To develop economic feasibility of the project;
To apply advanced information processing techniques, to evaluate data, analyze them, process, perform calculations;
To define implementation properties of telecommunication network projects;
To explain structure of telecommunication networks and systems; to explain functions and interactions of individual parts of the network;
To perform installation, assembling, adjustment and measurement work of telecommunication equipment;
Programming and self-mastering new programming languages;
To be able to analyze procedures of data stream transmission, management, processing and switching;
To identify and eliminate faults of telecommunication networks;
To be able to perform qualitative and quantitative metrological measurements and evaluate quality of connectivity;
Use information technologies, software for solving telecommunication engineering problems;
To carry out market research and evaluate business environment;
Develop a company (division) business plan;
To find business partners, to establish and maintain contacts to negotiate
