General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
Aim of the study program – develop
highly skilled interior design specialists
who are able to: creatively apply the
aesthetic, technological, historical,
psychological and social principles,
designing objects of various uses and
objects of the realm of nature; carry out

projects for the interior and the real

lifelong learning by developing
entrepreneurial skills, responsible
execution and evaluation of your
creative activity.
Learning outcomes:
A1. Understanding the means and
methods of visual expression, the
methods and technologies used to
design elements of the interior and its
realm. Knowledge of safety and
architectural requirements, interior
decoration materials properties and
purpose. The knowledge and capability
of creatively and purposefully applying
for interior design projects, designing
interior spaces and objects of the realm
of the environment, in cooperation with
colleagues, contractors and clients.
A2. Knowing and understanding the
historical context of art, design and
development, and contemporary trends
in interior design. Knowledge of the
psychological and social aspects
involved in the design of various
spaces. The available knowledge is
applicable to the design of interior
design concessions and the design of
spaces or interior elements of the realm
of the environment.
A3. Knowledge of intellectual property,
copyright protection, business
management. Ability to apply
knowledge in professional activities,
work in interdisciplinary projects and in
cooperation with partners, clients and
contractors.
B1. Ability to collect, analyze,
systematize applied technological data,
draw conclusions and draw on them in
designing spaces or objects of the
interior of the realm of the environment,
carrying out and implementing orders.
B2. Ability to collect and analyze the
artistic, historical, cultural context,
social use information necessary for a
creative project, to conduct an artistic
research necessary for the generation of
interior conception, designing various
space spaces.
C1. Ability to target visual means and
methods, design methods and
technologies. Manages two-dimensional
and three-dimensional graphics imaging
programs, with drawing, sketching,
composing, drawing skills. Ability to
choose the right interior decoration
materials in accordance with ecological
and economic principles.
C2. Opting for optimal solutions, means
of realization and in order to reveal
creative artistic conception, aesthetics,
functionality and technical
completeness, ability to design interior
spaces and interior elements of the
material environment.
C3. Understanding the historical and
contemporary context of the interior
design, social, cultural, economic contexts,
functionality and technological
capabilities, possibility to generate
conceptual concepts and suggestions for
interior design or its elements.
D1.Ability to think critically,
communicate with professionals in art
and other fields in an intercultural
context, professionally solve problems,
communicate with clients, colleagues,
audience, following professional ethics
and responsibility, present the idea,
conception of the project.
D2. Ability to reasonably choose visual
means of expression, to follow
intellectual property, copyright norms,
are oriented in today's market
conditions. Ability to convey design
knowledge, organize work process, plan
your own and all team activities, choose
specialists, carry out a joint creative
project, and take responsibility for the
quality of personal and team activities.
E1. Developing independent thinking,
creator responsibility and ability to
continue to study independently. Using
the acquired knowledge and skills, the
ability to reflect, professionally plan
their activities. Depending on the
requirements of the economy, society
and culture, and the requirements for
the interior design specialist,
responsibility for evaluating their
creative work, perceiving their
obligations to the client, the contractor
and the partners.
Activities of teaching and learning:
Learning outcomes-based Interior
design studies in teaching and learning
activities are focused on student selfexpression, independent and life-long
learning. The study process introduces
innovative methods of study
organization and activity. The study
process is realized by combining
different forms of teaching and learning
(lectures, seminars, practical
assignments, project work, exhibitions,
discussions, team work, individual work
independent work, presentation
interview, stuation analysis, analysis of
documents, analogues, literature
sources, reflection). Studies focus on
the implementation of communication
and cooperation, independent work,
teamwork, critical thinking and creative
thinking.
