Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Students result assessment is based on a ten - point system, strictly defining the achievement criteria. The procedure of student knowledge assessment was approved on the 30th of April in 2008 by the Council of Economics and Management Faculty. The Faculty introduced Cumulative Evaluation System.
The final grade is a weighted average of the grades from operational evaluation and mid-term assessment, individual work and the examination. According to the Faculty Council approved Knowledge Assessment Procedures, final course grades in the achievement of operational evaluation and self- assessments can range from 20 to 40 percent whereas examination evaluation can range from 60 to 80 percent. The assessment weight coefficients are indicated in the final assessment of the course syllabus. Student assessment structure fully and objectively assesses the achievements, since the cumulative scoring system motivates students to study not only during the examination session, but also to study continuously, through all the semester.
