General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
to provide the knowledge of classical and smart management and to develop the ability to apply this knowledge together with knowledge of basic engineering knowledge, principles and technologies in the field of engineering services in production, purchasing, sales, independently and cooperatively organizing project implementation, assisting in their implementation in business enterprises and public administration institutions.
Learning outcomes:
1. Is able to define classical and smart management and basic engineering concepts, laws and theories necessary for the organization and coordination of typical construction and renovation (modernization) processes and for the organization of building maintenance and management.
2. Ability to apply managerial knowledge together with knowledge of basic engineering knowledge, principles and technologies, identifying and solving complex construction and renovation (modernization) processes, building maintenance and management problems.
3. Is able to evaluate the situation of building, repair and renovation (modernization) of buildings, to evaluate data, to substantiate conclusions and suggestions on issues of building maintenance, repair, renovation (modernization) organization and coordination.
4. Is able to manage orders for building maintenance, repair, renovation (modernization) services through cloud technology and digital simulation.
5. Is able to organize and conduct professional activities in accordance with ethical principles, environmental and commercial circumstances, environmental and human safety requirements.
6. Is able to use building regulations and various technical standards, to organize building expertise and building audit and to assemble and coordinate interdisciplinary team for building maintenance, repair, renovation (modernization) works to ensure quality of works
7. Is able to communicate at the professional level in native and foreign languages with engineering, business community and other interested parties.
8. Is able to plan future-oriented directions of professional development by acquiring entrepreneurial competencies and reflecting on acquired professional knowledge and experience.
Activities of teaching and learning:
Lectures, seminars, discussions, individual and group practical tasks, independent written assignments, practical tasks, oral presentations, project work, case (problem situation) analysis.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
In order to foster students' motivation, a consistent, continuous work during the studies the cumulative assessment system is applied. Possible methods of assessment: control works, course papers, reports, projects, exams, final project.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
The study program is interdisciplinary, providing students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and skills not only in management but also in engineering.

Graduates will be able to work as sales and purchasing managers, suppliers, managerial assistants, project managers, project manager assistants in companies operating in the engineering services market in the fields of design, manufacturing, purchasing, sales - specialized manufacturing, electricity, construction goods and services, home renovation (modernization) and maintenance companies. It should be noted that, thanks to the acquired management, engineering and general competencies, graduates will be able to bring together teams of specialists of different fields for constructive work in the market of engineering services and to manage them, to communicate with Lithuanian and foreign clients, suppliers, clients to buy and sell engineering services, to present the company produced in various exhibitions. products, etc.
Access to further study:
Graduates will be able to continue their studies under university first cycle programs. After completion of additional studies or other requirements set by the University, they will have the right to study in a Master’s program and to deepen knowledge in business management.
