Objective(s) of a study programme:
To train highly qualified professionals in the field of media and communications (journalism, public relations, media management, production and mentoring, audiovisual production of cinema, television and photography, research in the field of new media, visual culture and creative industries) with theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professional competences that meet modern educational standards and the dynamic development of new communication technologies, local and global trends in the media market.
Learning outcomes:
Program graduates will be able to:
1. Will be able to work as journalists and radio and television editors in news and information agencies.
2. Will be able to work as cinema and television project directors and scriptwriters (primarily documentary and educational products).
3. Will be able to work for organizations involved in the production of multimedia profiles (audio, television and web projects) and media production.
4. Will be able to work in the field of radio, television and Internet advertising agencies and organizations specializing in media planning (advertising, etc.).
5. Will be able to work with public relations agencies and literary agencies.
6. Will be able to work as producers and promoters of various media and music projects;

Activities of teaching and learning:
Teachers of the Media and Communication program will combine different forms of teaching - both traditional (lectures, seminars, written assignments, presentations, tests, independent work, discussions), and more modern ("guest lecture", team work, case studies) to help you get the best results. analysis, problem-based training, simulation of role-plays and situations, fieldwork, etc.).

The Bachelor's program "Media and Communication" includes three unit credits of 240 credits: General (54 credits) - Humanities for all EHU students (42 ECTS credits + 12 English language credits). The main subjects of the program (126 ECTS credits) - compulsory subjects (90 credits), internship (15 credits), research work (6 credits), bachelor's final thesis or project (15 credits). Specialization subjects: each of 6 modules according to the direction - 60 ECTS credits.
