General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To train highly skilled specialists and researchers in the field of International law and European Union law who have the abilities to carry out independent work in the area of jurisprudence and legal science, as well as to work in other disciplines that require knowledge and competence in the field of law, as evidenced by their Master of Laws degree.
Learning outcomes:
Program graduates will be able to:
1. Will be able to apply the acquired knowledge by making an independent decision in difficult situations requiring an innovative or alternative approach, timely adjustment of decisions and differentiation of priorities.
2. Will be able to link the received knowledge about social sciences theories, humanitarian and other sciences with legal problems and, if necessary, to apply them in practice.
3. Will be able to gather information from various sources and analyze it, as well as the ability to find and use national and international sources for this purpose, assess their reliability, use common and up-to-date information technologies and databases.
4. Will be able to conduct independent research, interpret its results in an interdisciplinary context, nationally and internationally.
5. Will be able to draft law enforcement acts.
6. Will be able to analyze and evaluate the activities of natural persons and enterprises in the context of the principles and provisions of law.
7. Will be able to develop and improve practical activities by incorporating innovative social services into it.
8. Ability to independently prepare draft legal acts, justify their need for admission, evaluate the social, ethical, economic and other aspects of the decisions made.
9. Will be able to represent and coordinate the representation of the rights and legitimate interests of natural persons and enterprises, taking into account professional ethics and properly managing confidential information, as well as assessing and initiating innovation by attracting national and / or international human and material resources.

The General University Subjects Unit consists of 46 credits. Special courses are 120 credits. The total volume of the elective study subjects is 54 credits. Professional Practice - 18 credits.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
The program is unique in that it focuses on the training of international and European business law practitioners whose purpose is to disseminate legal knowledge and values inherent in international and European Union legal systems and to seek the integration of Belarusian other Eastern Partnership countries and European Union legal systems and international cooperation, communication, adaptation and transformation goals.

The program focuses on the training of international and European law specialists in research (in research institutes), in scientific and pedagogical (higher education), in expert-analytical (in think-tanks, in public organizations) and in organizational-legal (state bodies, international organizations, advocacy, advisory enterprises), including the task of reforming the national legal system and developing the development of the legal culture.
