Summary of the Profile
The training programme is designed for people without agricultural education who are willing to start farming and register farm in Farm register. During the theoretical sessions, participants will be taught common agricultural policy, crop production, animal husbandry, veterinary basics, mechanization of agriculture and construction, entrepreneurship, accounting and law, forestry activities, Environmental protection, labour and fire safety. Practical part of the program will be held in farms, companies, processing companies, scientific-research institutes, etc. Overall duration of theoretical training – 179 hours (4.5 weeks), practical training - 141 minutes (3.5 weeks), practice time is 1 week. The topic of the practical work must be related to the future farming activities in the farm. Practical work can be hold in Green diploma farms, companies, firms, science-tested farms. During the practice period, participants strengthens and develops skills and abilities in crop production, animal husbandry, veterinary, agricultural mechanization and construction of forestry areas, etc. The program is considered to be completed by preparing the report and presentation of practical work. Successfully finished program will provide competency to engage in agricultural activities and forestry. The training program is designed for people who have reached 18 years of age.
