Summary of the Profile

In theoretical classes, future junior farmers are taught economics, accounting and law; the basics of producing crops and raising livestock and veterinary and forestry work; mechanization and construction; and requirements for safety at work and civil protection.
Practical training takes place on a training and actual farm. The duration of practical training is four weeks. Professional working skills in the fields of producing crops, raising livestock, veterinary medicine, and forestry and other abilities are reinforced and improved during the practical training.
To enrol in the basic farming training programme, a person must be at least 18 years of age.
