During theoretical training, future growers of vegetables are taught about vegetable growing, mechanisation, construction, work and civil safety, economics, accounting, and the law.

Practical training is conducted in a real working environment on a vegetable farm. The duration of the practical training is 2.7 weeks. During the training, the skills needed to grow vegetables, etc. are consolidated and improved.

The vegetable grower training programme is designed for people who have reached 18 years of age.
