Summary of the Profile

General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To train Management Bachelor's degree holders who have the knowledge of Management, Economics and other study fields based on the results of the latest fundamental and applied scientific researches and able to apply them in the management of organization human, financial, material and information recourses as well as in the processes of management of relations with organization environment thus increasing the efficiency of organization’s activity, satisfying resident needs and making an impact on the social, economic and technological development of the country.

Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the fundamental world-view, humanitarian and exact sciences, which is applied seeking to know complexly and to evaluate systematically the phenomena of social, economic, scientific and technological progress in the activity of organizations.
Knowledge of the theoretical base of organization management applied seeking to evaluate and (or) manage external environmental factors (micro and macro economical phenomena, political, social, cultural, legal, informational, natural and other environments) in organizations and internal factors (human, informational technological, financial) in organization decision making and implementation processes.

The ability to collect and evaluate data to solve the problems of management of organizations by using a holistic, systemic and innovative approach and critical thinking.
The ability to select quantitative and qualitative research methods based on achievements in the latest scientific and applied scientific researches thus seeking to know and evaluate the environment and the activity of organizations and proceeded processes.

The ability to apply progressive methods and means of administration, financial, international relations management in the activity of organizations to arrange, evaluate, and make effective decisions.
The ability to apply legislative acts regulating the activity of organizations and to use the opportunities of information technologies, systems and data bases for effective organization management and activity development.

The ability to pursue various projective and ethical activities based on creativity, self-expression and innovation, dealing with the organization’s management problems occurring in the changing environment.
The ability to convey written and oral information, ideas, knowledge and possible solutions to the problems encountered by experts, in the uncertain environment.

The ability to independently develop professional competence through lifelong learning.
Understanding moral responsibility for personal activity and results considering the welfare of the country and society.



Activities of teaching and learning:
Teaching and training (learning) forms such as problem teaching, problem-conversation considering the situation, case studies, problem-based tasks, interactive (computerized) tasks, discussions, presentations of the results of the carried out independent tasks, paper writing, project development, individual and group (team) work, brainstorming, maps of ideas, concepts and knowledge, the expert method, etc. has been taking place.

Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Oral testing methods (individual, frontal survey), testing methods in writing (questionnaire, tests, control works, etc.), practical testing methods (exams, reports, etc.) are applied in order to check whether students have achieved provided learning outcomes. For assessing abilities to problem-solving, various evaluation methods are employed and cover the observation of group and individual presentations, conversation, report analysis, testing with the help of asking open or semi-open questions, etc.
The Programme envisages that individual work can be assessed by the student (self-assessment), a group of students or a lecturer. Student (self-) evaluation presents the opportunity to be active participants in the process of assessing learning outcomes, allows learning more about the evaluation process, establishing and applying criteria as well as evaluator‘s responsibility; students get more involved in the pros and cons of the works done; they acquire (self-) evaluation abilities necessary for training activity.
Framework:
Study subjects (modules), practical training:
Execution of the program in full-time form total provide 53 subjects studied, include 2 practices (Introductory and Professional Practice) and Bachelor‘s Thesis.
Full-time studies carries 8 terms. Scheduled balanced charge distribution per semesters in full-time studies, that is 6-7 subjects, with a total volume is 30 credits per semester.
Study subjects set out consistently, from the general required for other disciplines, going to specialized and optional subjects. Compulsory subjects consists of issues that are necessary for further study and practice after graduating. Optional subjects offer alternatives that provide a deeper knowledge of the matters in question for the benefit of choosing the profession.

Optional courses are as follows: English, German, French, Sociology, Protocol and Etiquette, Business Communication, Negotiation in Business, E-business and 2 Free choice obligatory course
Distinctive features of a study programme:
The main advantages of the Programme:
 Exclusive features and benefits of the Programme is the fact that all subjects studied were prepared using 3 and 6 ECTS credits structure. This is done in order to balance the volume of the subjects studied and giving more flexibility to go to study abroad by the Erasmus programme.
 Another distinctive feature of the new programme is a proposal to study the modern subjects both general and specific, and which are designed to develop skills in professional activities using information technologies. It's subjects like multimedia elements design, organizational behavior.
 Another advantage of the program – the opportunity to study 3 foreign languages (English, German and French).

Access to professional activity:
Students carry out 2 practices: introductory and professional. Introductory practice embraces study visits to practice places where students are introduced the nature of institutions, technical and technological welfare, human resources, work and production organization, services and (or) its products. Professional practices include the development of independent work skills, theoretical knowledge applying them in practice and introducing the institution, including its uses, structure, human resources, management, processes, services and outlets, office techniques and technologies. During practice, students carry out researches on the Bachelor’s thesis, acquire practical and analytical skills.

Has the access to the graduate (master) studies after finishing Organization Management Bachelor programme.
