Summary of the Profile
In theoretical classes, future operators of tools powered by explosives are acquainted with tools powered by explosives; the structure of such tools; the main properties of cartridges, studs, fasteners, and foundations; and the organisation of safe work with construction tools.
Practical training takes place in companies that use tools powered by explosives. The duration of practical training is eight hours. Organisation of work, working safely, and other skills are reinforced and improved during the practical training.
To enrol in the training programme for operators of tools powered by explosives, a person must be at least 18 years of age, possess a medical certificate testifying to one’s fitness for this job, and have two years of work experience in the field of construction.
