General Description:
Objective of a study programme:
To prepare qualified professionals of office administration who are able to independently plan, organize and control the office or department within their field of competence, to prepare and manage documents, manage staff activities, assist the manager, are able to make decisions and foresee personal development guidelines.
Learning outcomes:
To collect, analyze and summarize data and make decisions connected with company’s or its department’s activities.
To communicate in foreign languages with partners and inside an organization.
To acquire knowledge and skills based on personal choice.
To apply responsible management and marketing principles.
To manage and control financial resources.
To prepare documents and manage information inside and outside the organization.
To apply institution's planning and organization principles.
To administer the business and public administration department activities.
Activities of teaching and learning:
Case studies, discussions, lectures, seminars, situation modelling, projects, comparative analysis, simulation, advanced experience analysis, reflection, idea generation sessions.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Cumulative assessment: interim tests, reflections, independent works, presentations, externally reviewed internships, essays, exams, projects, portfolios (collections of work) and case studies.

Optional module. A student may choose proposed optional subjects offered by Vilniaus kolegija/UAS. Optional subjects’ credit amount equals to 10 credits.

Access to professional activity:
After completion of Office Administration study programme, graduates are employed as assistant managers, personnel managers and customer service managers at various business enterprises, public institutions and organizations, as well as administrators at document management and other departments.
Access to further study:
Graduates of the study programme can continue their bachelor and master level studies at universities in Lithuania and abroad.
