General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare big data analitics who are able to apply mathematical statistics and computer science knowledge required in big data analysis, who have acquired the practical job skills in the individual or group statistical projects, and who have acquired the knowledge and skills for self learning and studying in the second level of the study.

Learning outcomes:
• to select the appropriate mathematical statistical model for the big data sets to be studied;
• to perform statistical analysis and forecast of real big data sets;
• to evaluate the results of the statistical survey and present conclusions and recommendations;
• to use specialist computer software packages, to programme in various programming languages;
• work in groups based on modern group work management principles.
