General Description:
Objective of a study programme: Have theoretical and practical knowledge of multimedia object processing and visualization, analyse demands of multimedia products and information systems, develop their concepts, apply appropriate multimedia technologies.

Learning outcomes:

Have knowledge of mathematical and physical sciences, information and databases management operation systems, programming language and algorithms and ability to implement this knowledge to solve multimedia problems.
Have knowledge of computer graphics, information visualization, human computer interaction, internet technologies, design basics.
Have knowledge of video processing foundations, multimedia creative design principles, multimedia software engineering.
Research competencies
Capability to determine the demand of new multimedia products, develop their concepts create the strategies for implementation.
Evaluate complexity of multimedia data processing, interpret this data in terms of subject area.

Be able to analyze a problem and identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to its multimedia solution.

Framework:
Study subjects (modules), practical training: The studies include 46 subjects. The main subjects of Multimedia design programs: Computer graphics, Web programming, E-services technologies, Computer game design, Visual design, Graphic Programming for Mobile Devices, Introduction to Animation.
The study program includes 2 practices: cognitive (duration – 2 weeks) and production (duration – 8 weeks).
The study program ends with the final bachelor's thesis. Graduate is awarded with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
The multimedia and computer design study program is aimed at individuals with a secondary education and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Informatics.

Opportunities for Professional Activities: Graduates in Multimedia and Computer Design Studies - Bachelors of Computer science - have a thorough understanding of the design and development of multimedia technologies by integrating multimedia content development, information technology, computer design and digital information technology transfer. The graduate will be able to work as a multimedia designer, programmer, consultant, to take on the role of editor of multimedia content and web pages, web pages and interactive television content.

Upon completion of the program of multimedia and computer design in the first cycle, studies can be continued in Master's degree programs in the field of technology education.
