General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The objectives of the study programme are to prepare Professional Bachelors in Electronics Engineering who are able to professionally install, operate sophisticated electronics equipment and systems, diagnose and address various electronic systems faults, design, build and program electronic and mechatronic systems functional units, apply the computer programs for the design of electronics and mechatronics systems equipment, understand essential factors of business environment as well as have communication, teamwork, logical and systematic thinking skills, self-expand and deepen knowledge, apply the theoretical principles into practice.
Learning outcomes:
1.1. Communicate orally and in written in good Lithuanian in professional situations and a foreign (English) language.
1.2. Professionally formulate and justify arguments taking into account market situation, social, scientific, ethical aspects.
2.1. Work as a team.
2.2. Use legal and standard documents, computer programs.
2.3. Understand the individual importance of life-long learning and prepare for it.
2.4. Know the main electronics engineering concepts and their contents.
3.1. Explain operation of various profile electronics equipment and causes of fault.
3.2. Identify and eliminate the equipment faults.
3.3. Supervise, adjust electronics equipment and systems.
3.4. Install hardware and software applying the latest technologies.
4.1. Select and assemble the necessary equipment, tools and methods.
4.2. Securely implement, install and adjust electronic equipment and systems applying appropriate methods.
5.1. Select and create the circuits of electronic devices, be able to simulate them using computer applications programs.
5.2. Make a product design and prepare the main product design documents.
5.3. Work out economic justification of the project.
5.4. Understand design methodologies used in electronics and be able to apply them.
5.5. Select the technology process for product production.
6.1. Evaluate business environment.
6.2. Write a business plan.
6.3. Organize company (department) activities.
