Summary of the Profile
The aim of the programme is to prepare a qualified computer network coordinator able to work in the companies that have the hardware and installed software, and a functioning computer network. The training programme defines the following areas of activity: work with technical network equipment, work with software, network service configuration and testing. A computer network coordinator can work in companies that have an advanced computer network and companies that are engaged in the installation of telecommunication services. Practical training is carried out in enterprises that provide telecommunication services or which need to operate internal communications. During the practical training acquired competencies are demonstrated, strengthened and improved. The Computer network coordinator qualification is awarded after completing the entire training program and gaining defined competencies. During the assessment of personal competences, professional knowledge, practical skills are assessed. The assessment of acquired competences consists of two parts: the test of theoretical knowledge - the test and the practical part, which examines and evaluates the acquired competences. Upon completion of this programme, learning can be continued in accordance with programs of higher education in the field of science studies. This programme is intended for continuing vocational education and training.
