General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The goal of the program is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to digitalize the activities of businesses and organizations, with a particular focus on leadership, change management, project management knowledge and skills, and the ethical aspects of use of digital technologies.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge and its Application:
A1. Comprehends the principles of management of organizations, the interaction of the functions that make up organizations, and the organization's interfaces and fit with the external environment.
A2. Able to use theories and methods of leadership, change management, project management while carrying out digital transformations of organizations and change projects.
A3. Interprets socio-technical theories that explain the peculiarities of human-technology interaction and are able to use their implications in substantiating the possibilities of performance improvement, implementing change projects and assessing their impact.
Research Skills:
B1. Able to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, problems of management, functions, and business processes, opportunities and risks provided by change, justify alternatives for the development of appropriate management systems, or problem-solving approaches.
B2. Able to use quantitative and qualitative methods to collect, analyze and interpret primary and secondary data on the business environment, the situation of organizations, individual functions or processes.
Subject–Specific Skills:
C1. Comprehends the trends of digital technologies, use cases, and is able to apply them to realize the goals of organizations and contribute to their development.
C2. Able to use the knowledge and tools of business intelligence and data analytics to develop systems for evaluating the performance of organizations and to assess the impact of change projects; has the skills to apply these tools.
C3. Able to use intelligent process automation knowledge and tools to improve organizational processes and have the skills to apply them.

D3. Able to express fluently and persuasively while implementing change projects, presenting new products and process innovations orally and in writing, using various media to enhance the impact of communication, in Lithuanian and foreign languages.

E1. Able to develop personal qualities in areas where digital technology is limited such as creativity, entrepreneurship, context assessment, critical thinking and cultural intelligence.
E2. Master business ethics, the interaction of people, data and digital technologies and the intricacies of this interaction; is able to make ethical business decisions while deploying digital technologies to improve organizations and their processes.
E3. Able to take care of the development of their personality, develop professional mastery, risk tolerance and resistance to failure, feel comfortable in constantly changing environments and form a personal way of working.
Activities of teaching and learning:
The material of all study modules is mastered during classroom and student's independent work. Auditory work includes lectures, exercises, consulting seminars, etc. Student's independent work is the assimilation of theoretical material, preparation for lectures, exercises, mid-term assignments and exam, homework, project preparation, etc. The main teaching methods are: lectures, workshops, case studies, consultation seminars, etc. In addition to the main learning methods study program will use innovative teaching methods: design-based, problem-based, experiential teaching (learning), etc., when projects are implemented, solution problems, various competencies in various fields are used in a complex way. Part of the study subject will have teaching teams formed from different faculties. The program will implement a synthesis of theory and practice, with practical work on solving real managerial problems, applying advanced research, analyzing and designing tools and methods.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Student's knowledge, abilities and skills acquired while studying the module during the semester are assessed and registered in the academic database according to the calendar of task preparation and assessment provided in the module. Assessment for the semester's independent work assignments is recorded at the end of the semester (positive or negative assessment), the final assessment takes place during the examination session (grade according to a ten-point scale). When assessing the results achieved by a student, a cumulative point system is applied, when weights are assigned to the assessment of intermediate subject assessments and exam, which determine the influence of those assessments on the final assessment of the subject. Subject settlements and their weights are indicated separately for each subject in the final assessment of the subject.
The most commonly used assessment methods are: exam, midterm exam, problem solving, project report, oral illustrated report, etc.

This program was designed in cooperation with Invest Lithuania and Danske Bank. Students can choose additional competence subjects of BA+. During the studies students can obtain additional UiPath, Pega Certified System Architect, Elements of AI certificates.

Upon completion of the study program, graduates will be able to:

Students can work as Business Analyst, Digitalization Project Manager or Specialist, Digital Product or Sevice Deployment Manager or Specialist; Chief Digital Oficer.
Access to further study:
After completing the Bachelor of Business Digitalization Management, students can continue their studies in the second cycle study programs of Enterprise Management, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, International Business. For those planning doctoral studies at the University, a doctoral study program in Management is offered.
