(Summary of the Profile of a Study Programme) General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare professionals of business management and IT equipped with entrepreneurial mindset and skills for systemic management and development of modern organizations by integrating the state-of-the-art functional business knowledge and creative solutions to complex problems in dynamic business environment.
Learning outcomes:
1 They will master knowledge of


processes and their management in the organization, and will be able to apply information technologies thus creating added value in business.
2 Students will be capable: to analyse, systemize and evaluate financial, economic and statistical data and information; to choose appropriate technological organizational as well as methodical means necessary for effective business management.
3 They will master interdisciplinary scientific research in systems and business processes analysis and modelling so that to apply their results in practice.
4 They will be capable to model business processes; to apply effectively the latest information technologies in their activity.
5 Students will manage to apply knowledge of innovative (the newest) IT methods in IT systems design, their implementation and maintenance; to evaluate their need, effect and relevance for consumers, companies and organizations.
6 They will manage to plan, organize and pursue professional activity and research, render knowledge and awareness necessary to systematically implement and apply information systems.
7 They will be able to professionally argue and work in a team, cooperate in interdisciplinary IT project teams, manage them and take decisions as well as responsibility for the results.
8 Students will manage to adapt to constantly changing environment in business and information technology market as well as to the needs of rapidly developing knowledge society.
9 They will have core values and principles, necessary for a business and IT professional, systematic approach, analytical and creative thinking; will be aware of business and professional ethics as well as social responsibility principles.

10 Graduates will be capable to adapt to rapidly changing cultural, economic and technological environment.
Activities of teaching and learning:
Provision of information using visual aids, case-based lecture, explanation of practical examples and issues, explanation of video examples, formulation and explanation of practical tasks, moderation of discussion, consulting independent work: search for and analysis of information presented in educational literature, periodicals, etc. case analysis preparation and performance of practical tasks.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Written assessment (during the colloquium and examination); assessment of the oral presentation of seminar tasks; assessment of the independent group work preparation in progress and the final oral presentation.
