Description
Object of activities: installation and maintenance of building water supply, sewage disposal, heating, fire extinguishing systems.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, construction forging, drilling tools, pipe cutting, bending, pressing tools, taps, plumbing wrenches and other plumbing tools, equipment and machinery.
Typical working conditions: activities involve heavy manual physical work, usually performed indoors, requiring work at high altitudes. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: in his / her activities, the plumber follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection, documents regulating plumbing works and the principles of sustainable construction. The plumber works in a group. The following personal qualities are important to him: thoroughness, concentration of attention, body coordination, physical endurance, ability to work in a team. A plumber works independently, performing complex tasks assigned to him in accordance with the drawings, supervises the activities of subordinate, lower-qualified employees, assigns them tasks. For a plumber, the tasks of the activity are set by a person with a higher qualification. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in construction companies or carry out individual activities.
