In theoretical classes future automotive upholstery repairers are acquainted with the construction of an automotive interior, renovation technology, the characteristics of materials, drawing and modelling, disassembling of automotive interior and seats, production of patterns, the basics of cutting and sewing, production of parts, assembling, quality assessment, the basics of bookkeeping, information technologies, the basics of economics and business, operating sewing, cutting, disassembling, and assembling equipment and devices, citizenship and moral education, the Lithuanian language skills and terminology of the profession in the Lithuanian language, aesthetics, physical education, civil protection, etc.
Practical training takes place at school workshops and automotive and furniture repair shops. The duration of practical training is 48 weeks. The construction of an automotive interior, renovation technology, and other skills are reinforced and improved during the practical training.
To enrol in the training programme for automotive upholstery repairers, a person must have a basic education.
