Summary of the Profile

Objective(s) of a study programme:
to train high level qualification specialists in the field of applied informatics that are able to understand integrally the tasks related to informational, communicative and technological business support maintenance and the questions regarding the progress of information systems and information science.

Learning outcomes:
1. Will be able to explore new applications and business computer information systems and decision science theories of the importance of emerging issues and global trends.
2. Will be able to create plan of tasks and develop the goal of the research project, critically evaluate the use of ICT situations.
3. Will be able to apply and evaluate scientific achievements of computer science applications in business using scientific research methodologies for organising and performing scientific research.
4. Will be able to identify and explore new applications in computer science problems and plan strategies for their solution, a holistic approach to making professional decisions, balancing the costs, benefits, safety, quality, reliability, usability, impact on the environment.
5. Will develop skills in observation and measurement of quantitative and qualitative forms of physical or other business software features, events or developments to systematically record and document.
6. Will be able to apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative ICT market research methods, to make research plans and to evaluate situation using specific methodologies of research results analysis.
7. Will be able to formulate the research problem, objective, purpose, objectives, assumptions applied research methods, evaluation and organization of the economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Will be able to know the problem of demonstrating the selected theoretical studies and to select answering their ideas.
9. Will be able to analyse the topic in the world carried out studies to assess and interpret other people before the field work carried out to analyse the empirical results, based on the reliability of visually present study the quantitative and qualitative information, with arguments and comments
10. Will be able to create the structure of the thesis, based on the use of research methodology.
11. Will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and the understanding of information systems and technological platforms and will be able to solve the problems in this area.
12. Will develop human-computer interaction components, computer graphics and user interfaces skills.
13. Know and be able to understand the latest technology in perspective, the knowledge society, taking place in new and original information processes.
14. Will be able to create new ways of e. business managing, will be able to create the new components of the modern information and communication technologies, and will be able to create the new components of intelligent systems and business models.
15. Will be able to design and build information, software, technological, business processes equipment, intelligent enterprise resource planning Systems (ERP), including necessary components of informatics, technologies and knowledge management, which can engage in the realization of different business models interaction: business to business, business to consumer, consumer to consumer, government to business.
16. Will be able to apply modern methods of critical analytical decisions, evaluating the business computer software maintenance strategies, design methods, e. business models and marketing platforms, development of competitive conditions.
17. Will be able to gain practical skills in terms of business knowledge and computer skills development needs and unsustainable over the longer term, opportunities for electronic commerce application, selection and evaluation of e-commerce tools and the adaptation of new networked structures.
18. Will be able to simulate a specific area of business management processes and realize their patterns of modern ICT.
19. Will be able to exploit data bases, information and network business systems, IT consulting and technology issues.
20. Will be able to analyze information and communication technologies on business management, to develop software components will design e. services, evaluation of business management of internal and external corporate, changes in the administrative and functional processes.
21. Will be able to assess the business processes of production, to understand the requirements of sustainable development and ways to achieve them, will have mastered the computerized production processes to monitor, manage and make decisions.
22. Will be able to carry out the assessment of safe working practices, conduct automated monitoring of environmental indicators for monitoring and implementation of monitoring systems to make predictions, assessments and make suggestions.
23. Will be able to design integrated business management systems that use instruments (strategies, plans and information systems) sustainable production and business processes work and International cooperation.
24. Will be able to realize the knowledge base, knowledge portals, multiagent systems, artificial intelligence tools.
25. Activities of teaching and learning:
Lectures, seminars, independent work individually andin groups,practicalskillsbased learning. Variousexperientiallearning methods are used. Activities of teaching and learning are uniquely set at the beginning of each course. Those acivities are set according to priorities of teachers and students.

Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Outcomes measured in terms of students' work during the semester and the final examination results. During semester activity that are evaluated: individual and group work presentations, projects, case studies and other types of tasks. Problem based learning and reflection methods are applied.
